What does the role look like?
As a Floor Assistant at Urva Prep, you'll handle key floor operations and fill in as a Warehouse Associate when those responsibilities aren't active. Your core duties include:
- Unloading Trucks: Offload, scan, and sort inbound packages onto pallets and gaylords.
- Loading Trucks: Load outbound packages and pallets when carriers arrive.
- Facility Upkeep: Help maintain common areas, including cardboard baling and trash removal.
- Warehouse Associate Tasks: Support the team with standard warehouse work during downtime.
Requirements
- Experience driving a standing forklift.
- Experience using a pallet jack.
- Must be organized & detailed oriented.
- Must be okay with unloading & loading trucks with boxes that weigh up to 50 Ibs by hand.
- Must be okay with wearing OSHA rates safety shoes.
Shifts
8 Hour Shift
- 9:00am-5:00pm
Compensation
This position starts at $18.00/hr, with raises available for employees who consistently exceed their performance metrics.
Performance Metrics
High performers are rewarded with raises. Employees who consistently fall short of expectations will be let go.
- Productivity: Units received, shipped, or stored per shift, measured against daily targets.
- Reliability: Consistent on-time attendance and dependability across scheduled shifts
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new warehouse processes quickly and accurately
