About Urva Prep
Urva Prep Center is a start-up fulfillment center dedicated to providing online businesses with a better 3PL service through software and efficient operations. We value continuous software improvements and investing in technology that makes our workflows faster and more effective.
What does the role look like?
As an Account Manager at Urva Prep, you are the vital link between our clients’ business goals and our warehouse operations. You are the "voice of the client" within our facility, ensuring their inventory is managed accurately and their orders are shipped on time. Your core duties include:
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing daily inquiries, troubleshooting order issues, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Operational Liaison: Coordinate directly with the warehouse floor teams to prioritize inbound shipments (unloading/sorting) and outbound carrier pickups to meet strict SLAs.
- Inventory Integrity: Monitor stock levels within the WMS, investigate discrepancies between physical and system counts, and oversee specialized projects like kitting or labeling.
- Onboarding & Integration: Guide new clients through the technical setup process, ensuring their e-commerce platforms sync seamlessly with our warehouse systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in facility upkeep or floor workflows that impact your clients' costs and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Logistics Fluency: Proven experience in a 3PL or warehouse environment; familiarity with warehouse workflows (inbound/outbound/storage) is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Walmart).
- Analytical Mindset: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret shipping data and billing reports.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for de-escalating client issues and translating complex warehouse "floor speak" into clear business updates.
- Operational Knowledge: While this is an office-based role, you must understand floor safety and equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks) to accurately set client expectations regarding lead times and handling requirements.
- Adaptability: Must be comfortable occasionally stepping onto the floor to perform audits or assist the team during "peak" high-volume seasons.
